Default Eurospares head gaskets, anyone used them?

Dealer wants $99 for one. From eurospares I can have both for the $$$. Anyone used them? I'd like some feedback please.

Why not 4.2 MLS gaskets? They are not so expensive.

MLS = Multi layer steel. MLS gaskets are better at sealing then composite fiber gaskets. i believe all 4.2 has MLS gaskets as standard. The Euro Spare are most likely just re-branded; i would be very surprised if they made them. Chances are they are fine but if OEM are a similar price why go aftermarket if quality is an concern. I did cylinder heads in a 06 4.2 (FOD) and i believe we used payen MLS head gaskets. IF it was my car i would get OEM unless i knew the aftermarket part was better or the price was absurd.

Seller says he doesn't know if they are original jaguar but confirms they are MLS.

I dont know. At terry's jag/engel imports the picture of the gasket looks very similar Jaguar - XK8-03-06-Cylinder-Head

I think i read somewhere on the forum the Lincoln LS uses the same head gaskets as the 4.2 but i am unsure.

I have a standalone TCM waiting to be installed. I have too many projects going on at once.
