Default Extremely weird car prob need thoughts

well have a bit of a weird one got done at the gym went out to the car went to start and it started to turn over just fine for bout 2 seconds andthen suddenly quit and didnt retry. Now there is zero lights on the dash such as the check engine, oil light, and such and the message center says electrical fault, transmission fault, suspension fault, etc etc it wont let me take out of park all windows and radio and windows and alarm work but nothing engine wise. I checked all fuses all seem fine. tried hooking my OBD2 reader n it says no link with ignition on. Just learned that the black box where the battery wire goes in has some big fuses in it as well and didnt check tht. But just was a bit weird and wanted to know if anyone has experienced this before? Seems like I am just not getting power somewhere.

Hello, have you tried to reset the crash cut switch, that turns of all ecu but ligt and soo. On my rhd -98, it is positioned on driver side just where bulkhead meets fender, right on the edge of the inner carpit. That gave the same behaviour, with nothing happning but it did have fault codes for every ecu at that time. Good luck!

First things first. I'd suspect the battery has 'spat the dummy'. Modern batteries can fail as suddenly as that, and if the voltage is too low to support the computer, but still enough to turn on a light you'll get every damned message the computer can think of. Checkalso for corrosion on the battery terminal postrs.

cheers,

Languid

Okay guys well wasnt the main fuses, nor wa it the false bulkhead, or even the BCM. I was checking out the BCM and just happened to look over to my passanger side kick panel and noticed my inertia switch and thought well it could be doing what i was experiencing but i hadnt hit anything but WTH so I decided to see if it clicked sure enough it did. I looked clser and saw tht one of the wires leading to it was frayed and grounded out so fixed it and taped it and vroom vroom works perfect again YEAH

This is a sign that your car is now officially TOO FAST. When your car launches like it was hit from behind and sets off the inertia switch it is time to slow down.

I suggest you remove some of your most effective go fast parts, but them in a box, and send them to me
