Would somebody please tell me of a Jauar with out overheating issues. This 1998 XJR is my 8th Jaguar. The only one that never ove rheated was a 1954 XK120, though those SU carbs drove me nuts.

 

I took her out for 100 mile trip, one way. No Failsafe Mode till I get off the freeway, and the temp on the gauge was fine and the car ran spotless. When I started it up to come home, all was well, and it made it to the garage without issue.

I am sure there is a thread somewhere, but I think some of these failsafe issues are the result of the early stage software running on these machines. It just feels finicky, with odd warnings that come and then go. So, after that many miles without issue you would think I could raise my arms in victory.

Well, actually I do raise my arms, but I am also feeling like a shoe is ready to drop... I love my Jag. It is a beauty, and I will drive it to church in the morning! My great hope is not to report back again.
