fender mirrors on XJR?
Has anyone got a picture of a XJR with fender mirrors? Preferably the Talbot/Bullet style?
Maybe Cybersib, resident JF photoshop guru will concoct one

My "bill" is in the mail! hehehe

I think it looks okay, but to make it look proper, you'll have to have some panels fabricated and painted black to remove the standard mirrors. When I first did this, it looked really awkward with both sets of mirrors.
BTW, just for the record, the addition of the mirror was a snap, but changing the color of this car from black (the only "side-view" pic I could find) to Emerald Green was a b/+ch!!!!

Looks pretty good! You got the mirror placement just right.
Changing to Emerald was a very nice touch. But, any body color would have done, especially black which is so close.
Now let's see if anyone else has an opinion.
BTW, before anyone jumps on it, yes the illustration is of newer model.

I think they wreck the profile of the car, no clean line from bumper to windscreen. They look like an add-on, and not in a good way.
The only justifiable reason for fitting would be for 'caravan towing' (to see one's ****) - which again should never, repeat never be allowed with an XJR.....it's like plowing a field with an Arabian race horse.

My personal opinion is that the stock lines are best. I don't really like the addition of the mirrors. Just one man's opinion though. The Jag XJR has such great lines, I personally feel it gets in the way.
