My cashmere 2001 XJ8L Floor mats have gone pinkish and threadbare, but there are so many replacement vendors and materials. Anyone replace theirs with aftermarket and love 'em?

I would prefer sticking with carpet, rather than a plastic/rubber product.

i just bought a set of custom mats from LLoydmats . i selected the deep "luxury" pile carpet in dark brown color to contrast with my oatmeal interior. the fit and finish is great and it does make you feel like driving barefoot.. which i will probably do in the summer. you can get them with embroidery etc etc. i recommend them. they are about $200 for the set of 4.

 

I got a set of original Jaguar mats with the car, but I also bought a spare set from ebay uk which are very good. The colour match is perfect, and the quality is very good. They were about £30 so good value too.

 

Thanks all. I like the idea of finding a deal on real Jaguar mats and will look on ebay. The previous owner may have cleaned mine with something that made them go pink, but they have been great mats otherwise.

Its not aftermarket but ,mine came with thick pile Lambswool mats,got to say it feels great when you kick of your Loafers .

 

Do the LLoydmats or other aftermarket mats come with retaining grommets for the driver side, to keep them in place?
