Finally got around to tracking down an inop key cylinder lock on my 03 xjr over the weekend and today. Hasn't worked since I got it. Seems the plastic rod which attaches to the latch and then has a threaded rod attached to the lock cylinder bracket is broken (the clip which holds it into the latch is no longer there. I did a search for the part on some of the online parts vendors and I can't seem to find it. It might be number #8 on the front door/components/lock diagram but it doesn't look like that one has plastic part. Anybody got the part number? I remember reading something on an xk8 thread about not braking one of the plastic fittings on the door handle as it wasn't available is that the case with this? Anybody got a used one if I can't get a new one. Prefer new but will take what I can get. Not real close to a pull apart that would have an x308
