Front discs and Oil Change done
Whew, that was an experience. I just replaced both front rotors and pads, and while I had the car jacked up I did an oil/filter change.
Went with ceramic pads. Stops the car quite well. had an oil leak due to the old filter being extreamly loose. I made sure the new filter was tight.
I purchased back rotors and pads, but when I pulled the tires and looked at them, they hardly appear worn at all. The Jag has 64K miles on it and the back brake discs and pads look almost unused. No dust on the dust shields at all. I had to scrub the front shields to get them shiny silver again.
Anyway, I went ahead and left the backs alone and will return the rotors and pads.
Is there a brake front/back distribution block that may need to be looked at to see if the back brakes are even being used? The parking brake works good, so maybe that's all it is being used for.
Thanks for all the great advice I've been getting off this forum folks.
