Front end alignment
Took my VDP in for front end alignment and wheel/tire balance. Alignment job was excellent and all suspension components in good shape. Tires not so good. Tires are Bridgestone and approx. 10k miles on them. Had them do the Hunter balance test and the tires were terrible. They put the best two on the front. I'm going to check on new tires but I am beginning to wonder if any tires are up to spec anymore. I've had three different cars in for the balance in the last two years, each a different brand tire and same results. Talked to the tech and says he sees so many different brands turn out, out of spec. Any suggestions?
Thanks, Dave
Thanks, Dave
are you talking about the tire balance? If so, over time as the rubber wears, it can affect the balance as can: dirt in the wheels, tires spinning and changing orientation on the rim, patches/other repairs. Alot of things can come into play. Were they not able to balance them out?
