Default Front Exhaust Bracket XJ8 Vandenplas

I'm searching for a front exhaust system bracket that holds up the bar that connects the two exhaust pipes on my 1999 XJ8 VAndenplas.
I'm told that this bracket is no longer available from Jag dealers?
It is Item Number 10 on the attached parts diagram.
I'd really appreciate any advice?
Ian

Yes, it is only on the 4L as far as I remember from my previous researching, and only on some models / years.
To the OP, I guess a junk yard or breaker is your next best chance.

I've found a pair of no.8's brackets easier to locate the exhaust....

Those aren't so easy to come across. The problem with those is that it's actually 2 metal brackets fused together with about 1/4" thick piece of rubber. Never mind that rubber breaks down over time. The real problem is when an oil leak occurs, (typically a rear main and/or the cap seal above) the oil gets on the rubber and then it expands and the fusion between the 2 metal brackets separates. You might be better off having a one piece bracket made if your that concerned with it. The one on my 98' XJR is different than a 98' XJ8 because the holes are spaced differently so that should make your search for one even narrower.
