I went out to the car today to remove the baby seat behind the driver's seat and during this task, I happened to notice the driver's side, front seat belt escutcheon, located on the pillar, was broken. I carefully felt the escutcheon and it's really thin and flimsy, hence the large chip missing from it. Are these a common item to replace in these cars? Is this a dealer only item?

 

Specific trim pieces are usually dealer-only items due to the colour choices, so your best bet is to source a used one from ebay or a breakers...

 

Does all of the interior trim on the pillar need to be torn down to replace this piece? Is this in JTIS?
