Default Front shocks CATS suspension

OK, it seems I keep getting kicked off of posting so I'll try again...3rd time Jim Lombardi is there a problem with the site?
My front shock bushings have "melted" I'm replacing the mounts... Don't want to buy new shocks if I don't need to! How do I tell if I need new shocks? I've replaced the sway bar links because of shot bushings, the ball joints appear to function normally but there are "cracks" in the rubber. How do I check/know I need to replace the shocks? Don't think I have the CATS system, but not exactly sure how to check. The original window sticker is VIN SAJDA15B71M F26638. Feel a "shudder" going over RR tracks or potholes... Any ideas greatly appreciated!!!

both the front and rear ends are bushed - with the front subframe v mounts, engine mounts, and rear lower front subframe mounts being suspect in your case.

To i.d. CATS equipped cars, look for a domed black cap that sits on top of the shock and a wiring loom connector running into the top of the shock, if not, non cats equipped.

The shock mount bushes do deteriorate and updated bushes can be purchased to fit, a simple job, have a search for the procedure

Hope this helps
