Default Fuel door latch

Does anybody have suggestions where to find a replacement for the latch for the fuel door? This '98 came without one. I'd like to lock it to keep the honest people out...now that we're paying $4.09 a gallon...

locking fuel cap, leave the door unlocked and get a keyed cap.

You could find one at a local O'Reilly

I got one of these latches at the dealer, for not much money. Just a small plastic part.

If it's the electric version like I have in my XJR, I found it to be pretty expensive. I found one at my local Pick-n-Pull for $5. Pretty easy to install too.

I suppose it depends on what you mean by the "latch." There is an electric motor within the trunk that pushes a locking rod out into the space near the gas filler, under the flap. Attached to the flap is a small plastic part, into which the locking rod engages to lock the gas flap shut. I had to replace the "small plastic part" on my car, but if I needed the whole electric motor and locking rod, I would look to eBay.
