Where is the fuel filter located on a 1999 XJ8?

Just above the left, rear half-shaft, if you remove the left rear wheel it should be easily visible.

Thank you, Carnival Kid. That should be very helpful in locating and replacing the filter. It is too darned hot to be aimlessly searching under the car for the filter and it's location.
