I have a 2000 XJ8, I need to replace the Fuel Pressure Regulator. Can anyone tell me or show me with a picture on where it's located? And is this a part I need to purchase from the dealer or does anyone know a good after market manufacture?

I have now found 2 parts, both called "Fuel pressure regulator"
part 2 ( JLM21358) in this view: https://parts.jaguarlandroverclassic.../brand/jaguar/
part 14 (NCA5203EA) in this view: https://parts.jaguarlandroverclassic.../brand/jaguar/

So now I am confused...

I think JLM21358 is for the naturally aspirated XJ8, and NCA5203EA is for the supercharged XJR.

 

Would make sense but doesnt seem to be the case:

JLM21358:
- naturally aspirated engines from VIN 853936
NCA3007CA:
- supercharged to VIN 835511
- supercharged from VIN 835512
- 3.2 & 4.0, all VIN

Seems JLM21358 is a seperate regulator, NCA3007CA a set of return pipe and regulator combined. Depending on VIN.

We should ignore part # JLM21358 as this is the fuel regulator for the non aspirated XJ8 and not suitable for your XJR.

Now we look at NCA5203EA, (part #14 in the diagrams) this is the correct fuel regulator for your XJR....BUT is listed as "not available". This is because this part number has been superseded by part # NCA3007CA. Part # NCA3007CA is simply part # NCA5203EA & the associated connecting pipe (part # 6 in the diagram)
