I was wondering, is the garage door opener in the roof console a NAS option, or just a later model option on ROW and NAS?

I have looked in all my handbooks and no mention of it at all.

would it be possible to retro fit it 98 XJR ?
would it even be legal to fit and use in the UK ?

 

The U.S.A has had this since the introduction of the X300 (1995MY>)
The X100 had it since introduction.
The X200 and X400 since introduction.
The XJ-S never did as far as I know.

Retrofit would be possible if the FREQUENCIES are legal and compatible.
I don't know what frequencies are available and where!!!!

there seems to be 2 legal frequencies for low powered devices in the UK,

200 KHz allocation centred on 418KHz
1.74 MHz allocation centred on 433.92 MHz

anybody know what the US frequencies are?

 

What is the frequency of YOUR GDO?????
That would be the main obstacle in finding a suitable transmitter.
