My 2000 XJ8's transmission went out today. I started the car and the gear would not engage in drive or any other gear. It would just make a large clunk sound and the gearbox failure light came on. I assume I will need a transmission rebuild. Any ideas? Also, any recommendations on a service center in Los Angeles. Thanks, Andrew
