Are we talking about the lighting on the "ski-slope".....radio/temp/AC, etc, etc, or the speedometer/tacho/fuel gauge/temp cluster?

Default The cluster lights.....

The issue is the tach speedo lights are out. Strangely, they went off and on before they finally went out for good. That does not seem like bulb behavior.

Has anyone done any work on the instrument cluster or other parts of the heating air conditioning controls?

Have you moved the instrument cluster rheostat dimming control to a different position?

Default the cluster

I am not a mechanic as I have sever arthritis in my hands. I have to pay someone to do this repair. Yes, I tried the reostat, no go. It works but the bulbs stay off.I guess the fact that not all of the bulbs are out would indicate just the bulbs not the actual cluster itself. What is weird is that they went off and on before completely going off.

With the instrument cluster out of the car, the printed circuit board can be checked for open circuits and the bulb(s) replaced.

It may be best to replace all the instrument cluster bulbs whilst the unit is removed.
