Growler Emblem

Growler Emblem
I'm just wondering if I'm alone in thinking the newer style 'growler' emblem slightly cheapens the essence and feel of the old pedigree and richness of the Jaguar brand that is still sought after by other manufacturers and consumers, even after the latest contemporary cars were introduced? The emblem on our X308s is so much better. For instance, imaging if, say, Ferrari or Porsche 'modernized' their emblems in a way similar to what Jaguar did. I can't imagine why any company would want to do that to their brand. What are your thoughts?

yeh plus one, I prefer the original, for ease of product manufacture they've gone with something that can be printed rather than cast - it does cheapen the brand on the most basic of levels. Poor decision. It looks like an anaemic caricature, an ill version of the mighty growler that once was. Lest we forget the heritage of this great British brand, it's not "Jaguar Ltd", it's "i-Jaguar v2.0" "my ipod won't sinc......yeh, right!
