I started today on a tensioner replacement for my xjr today, with parts and locking tools ready. Got to the crank bolt, and realized.. my chain wrench was too short! At this point I just want to order up the proper pulley tools so I can do this right and move onto diagnosing any other possible issues.

I will call around some dealers tomorrow to see if they'll rent out the tool, but if that's not possible or too expensive, I found this tool kit on ebay.

With the longer tool needed to clear the s/c pulley, does anyone know if this tool will work with the XJR pulley, or only the xj8? I'd hate to wait another week just to find I'd bought a kit i can't use.

If none of that works out, is there anyone who would be willing to loan out/rent their pulley locker tool?
