Is it possible to actually do an upgrade. My 03 has a standard analog set up and I’d like to upgrade to a Bluetooth set up. Is this possible?

 

Adding BT is one of the more simple mods, just get a car bluetooth kit and install it via the cigar lighter or patch into it's wires for a stealth install.
Set the radio to the kit's frequency on the radio head unit in FM and you're up & away.

 

Yes Sean ...I have a similar setup, but I wonder if the OP is
talking about the phone unit that some of these cars had in the
middle console.

 

With the BT kit you add your own phone - a screen/dash phone holder does the rest as a hands free option. These BT kits have their own mic, or they can use the phone mic.
Once linked the phone is your streaming device.
There are no official Jaguar blue tooth kits/phones to upgrade to so this is really the only option?

 

I was hoping to use the factory button on the steering wheel and call up the commands, the sound system would shut off and stop the CD player until the call has ended.
