Heated Seats
I have a problem with my heated seats and need a little help. The seats worked fine when I bought the car. Now, when I push the button for either seat heater, the indicator lights come on for both seats, but neither seat heats up. With fall coming, I want to get this squared away. Sound like a familiar problem to anyone?
The seat heaters only will work when the ambient temperature is below the preset thermostat - even body heat will keep them from coming on, even though the light on the dash is lit. Dumb system, and wholly inadequate heat output at best, but that's the way it is.
Yours are likely just fine - wait for cold temps to arrive, then try them!
Cheers!

From what I've heard here in the forum, yes. But, it may be dependant upon year/model.

Figured I should close this one out... It turned out to be the fuse for the seat heaters. For whatever reason, the lights on the switches come on even though the fuse is blown. Took me forever to check the fuse because the lights on the switches confused me.
