Trying again.
Always love the advice of so many knowledgable people.
1999 XJ8, was having MAP problems that were resolved thanks to you guys.
Took car in for emissions, Failed as only 2 of 7 monitors were ready(Misfire and O2 heater).
Drove car nearly 400 miles and still the same.
Did the Ford monitor reset driving after clearing. No Change
Unhooked battery and touched positive to negative. No Change after driving.
Have CEL showing with P1647(O2 Sensor) & P1000(no problem)
Switched sensor connections. Still P1647
Do have a P1642 code showing sometimes but using cheap code reader.
No problems last emissions check.
Any suggestions?
