I have a 98 XJ8 with a HK up graded system and the woofer in the rear deck went out,I want to install a stand alone sub with a amp and was wondering what color wires from the radio to the amp are the woofer into the amp. There are two din plugs in the amp and I want to find the color that is the woofer before it is amplified to feed my woofer amp.I hope you can make some sense out of all that. I removed the old woofer but do not want to use the wires because they are already amplified. Thanks

I have looked at the wiring diagram and it is not obvious to me which lead would be considered the low level subwoofer input. Maybe someone else has done this or your use of a schematic is better than my 32 year old electronics class recollections!

 

Thanks, I checked out the diagram and can't seem to find what I am looking for, it shows the amp out put but the in put is confusing to me.When I look at the din plug into the amp seems like not enough wires to handle right front,left front,right and left rear and the sub, maybe some one else can come up with a answer.Thanks
