Question Help Identifying Mystery Cat

The cats on my 2001 VDP SC don't seem to match the ones that were supposed to be on it from the factory. Strange. This makes it hard to find a bolt in replacement.

I wonder if any other 2001-03 supercharged owners could have a look under their cars and tell me if they see what I am seeing. Either I have something modified or the factory diagrams don't match the parts installed. Rare but this has happened before.

I have attached diagrams of the two possible cats on the supercharged cars: one with a coupling connection to a straight pipe and the other with a bolt on flange to a flexible pipe. This is what you should see under there.

Then I have attached two pics of the cats on my car showing both a flange and a coupler. Very strange.

Any help resolving this mystery is appreciated.

RGW.

Good luck
