Help, my door won't close!

I was trying to reset my automatic locks and I bumped the passenger side door latch and it is stuck in the locked position with the door open. Can anyone assist? TIA!

unlock the car, then use a big screwdriver to rotate the latch in the open direction while lifting up on the handle.
