Please someone help.I have the original key fob for my 1997 xj8. Worked perfectly even after changing batteries. Suddenly stopped working so I cleaned the contactors with a rubber and it worked briefly and stopped.
Attempted to re-synchronise but after red light comes on by gear lever and I depress the buttons nothing registers and eventually 2 beeps sound. Repeated this many times but still no luck.
