I just acquired a centre dash vent from a 2000 XJ8. I'm going to adapt the clock from it into my XK8 (which doesn't have a clock).

There are three wires at the connector plug (see the photo below)...
One Red
One Tan & Red
One Tan & Black

I've been searching online for a wiring diagram but have come up empty. Can anyone help me identify what each wire should connect to? I assume one is clock power, one is power to the back light (dimmable), and one is ground, but I may be wrong. Any knowledgeable help would be greatly appreciated!
