Default HID Headlight Bulb Question 2001 XJ8 VDP

Hey,
I came across many listings on eBay selling HID bulbs that supposedly do not need any conversion. Just plug and play. Of course this sounds too good to be true. Has anyone tried these or have feedback. I don't know much about car lights...all I know is my stock lights are a bit dim driving at night.
Thanks & here is the link:

I just recently changed my all my lights. My recommedation is to get a 80 watt Nokia Hyper White artic H7 and 9006 to match the fog lights. Also upgrade your harness as the cable will heat up with higher watts. For the middle lights (194 lights) I used LED much brighter and clear. Check out my garage photos.

Default HID Lights

Wow...the pics look great and from what I can see your lights are much brighter. I've done a search for the bulbs you mention and have not had much luck. Can you tell me how you sourced the LED's and the 80 watt Hyper whites? Also, i have read about LED's flickering or not lasting long. Have you had them in for a while?

Thanks for the info.
Cheers.

You will get it in 3 bsns days.
Show some pics when you get it installed.
I tried getting HID for my car but the base for the light is not compatible so
I did this as an alternative to brightness.

Here is the link where i bought mines.

Hey, thank you much. Did you install them yourself?
I'm not very mechanically inclined, so might get a quote from my garage unless it is super simple. The LED's look great...but I have read other posts that there are lots of problems with them. Perhaps it's the brand/quality that makes a difference?

Yes just plug and play. You can even get away with using the same harness. Just remain with the same lights i used don't go for higher wattage.

I was goin to change everything to LED but from one review I heard that the LED are pretty bright but does not give you light throw to illuminate the road so I will remain with the ones I have.

Here is one person's review which sounds so true but if you willing to do it anyways just for fun go right ahead. I personally think it still looks cool.
