Default how to check camshaft and crankshaft sensor

Hello i want to check the cam and crankshaft sensors with a multimeter . Now ive read some things about reading between 1 a 2 volt ac when starting now is there anyone who can confirm this ? And can you read it when idile ? Thats what ive done did it 2 times and crankshaft gave me first time a 1,4 /1,5 reading and second time a 2,4 reading. And the camshaft sensor both times a 0,1 /0,2 reading when rev up it goes a bit up . If someone has some info about this let me know im checking this because the car boes not start up so good sometimes and it holds back when driving around 140 kmh and also when i use kickdown at low speeds. Ive checked fuel pressure and other things but they are ok .

I am almost certain you're looking in the wrong place.

If you want to check those sensors, and I really think the PCM is doing it fine already, you need a 'scope as you're looking for a pulse not an a/c voltage.

What are the LTFT values, per bank, hot engine, parked, at idle & 2500rpm?
