I urgently need to disable my memory seats. The module malfunctions. Basically when I unlock the car with the fob, the seat moves all the forward and tilts into the steering wheel. I've looked up the directions on how to change the positions etc., but it does not respond right.

I have another problem where if I unlock the car with the key it makes the drivers window stop responding until I can reset the battery.

Basically I would rather use the fob, so I need to disable the memory module. Is there a fuse or something I can pull? I am so frustrated with this problem it's making me avoid driving the car.

So pairing your fob with the seat memory is not working ? Immediatly press unlock button of current fob after saving seat position and sound is heard. When pressing unlock button, another sound is heard and fob is now paired to the current memory position.

 

TSBs we got a few decades ago.

 

Turn the power steering adjustment knob to the opposite position from the one its in now to disable the auto seat function.
