Default Installing 10% Jaguar XJR Powerhouse Pulley X308

I purchased the 10% Pulley upper Pulley from Powerhouse. I know realize the process requires grinding down the end. Does anyone have any experience with this and suggest some tips? Would be my first time.

Some questions, how do you know when's enough off?

What machines did you use?

Expected time to take?

I want to DIY.

Thanks for help!

somebody made a plastic pulley of the same dimensions but a teensy bit looser fit on the blower shaft so you could check fitment. not sure who that was though.

I purposely got the 6% as I didn't want to mess with this.

Also you may want to upgrade your cooling pump. If there is a budget. Powerhouse UK intercooler.

Upgrading pulley meaning more Heat so need more cooling power

There is a tool specific to this, that fits on the pulley shaft and machines away the snout to the right diameter. I'd need to dig a bit to find it, but it should be available for sale/rent from the companies that do custom pulleys.

I sure hope you're not going at it with an angle grinder...
