I recently bought a an x300 XJR with 125k miles on it for $1000. It drives but need some mechanical and exterior work. I also own an x308 XJR which needs a new hood. If I were to buy a donor car, are the panels easily exchangeable between the two?

It's my understanding that all the sheet metal carries over. Experts please verify.
