Default Jaguar NAV Kit Instructions & Illustrations

Hi
I found this 2001 XJ8 Navigation Install Kit instructions on the topix.jaguar website:
TOPIx - TOPIx

In Select a document section - I choose item 1 LNG3650FIT-410 - Navigation System (North America Only)

The next screen brought up the fitting instructions (29 pages) viewed as a PDF file in the internet browser.

You can use the printer icon on the top blank menu bar to view it in your own Acrobat software.

This document shows all the Nav components that come in the install kit and all the Instructions and Illustrations that cover all the removal and reinstall steps.

The JTIS does not seem to give enough instructions and illustrations on the audio system components so

I am including this list of the steps in the hope that forum members can use this information to:
Remove stuff like the radio, or add/modify something in the stock harness, or remove a seat, the carpet, and most of the IC (In Car entertainment system components).

I used the print icon to get the PDF view of the document, then I saved the PDF file and uploaded to my mediafire account - here is the weblink to the PDF file:
2001 XJ8 Navigation Install Kit.pdf

Here is the list of steps:
Removal of the covers around the gearstick
Removal of the radio
Removel of Climate Control Panel

Center Console removal (Floor Console)
Center Console Glovebox (Floor Console Storage Compartment)
Rear Center Console A/C vent control

Removal of Rear Seat Cushion & Rear Seat Backrest
Removal of Parcel Shelf above Rear Seat Back

Driver Seat Removal
Lifting Carpet to get access to the Harness on side of tunnel
Installing New Harness under Carpet on side of tunnel

Removing the Assist Handle over Rear Door
Detaching the door aperture weatherstrip
Removing the rear courtesy/reading light
Detaching the C-pillar trim panel over Rear Door
Removing Rear Harness to Heated Rear Windscreen

Removing Luggage Compartment Floor, Side, and Back Panels
Detaching Harnesses to Antenna Motor and Autochanger/amplifier assembly
Adding new Nav Harness
Adding Navigation Unit to Autochanger/amplifier assembly

Then step by step reinstalling instructions and illustrations

If anyone is interested I have a Jaguar Nav unit and head unit for sale. It is from the UK so you will need the relevant disc. This was removed from a 2001 XJ8 and it will not fit in models 98/99 I'm not sure about the 2000 MY though.

PM me if interested

Does Jaguar even sell these anymore? If so, for how much?

I have installed the factory NAV in my 01 XJR and i can tell you that this document is missing the MOST important information:
The system will not work until a special CD ( that I have) is used to wake-up/program it.
Problem is, most dealers have no clue about this step nor which CD to use
