Ive owned my jag for 8 years, recently When Ive been driving for about an hour the restricted proformance comes on. but when it cools down ot goes off again. i had this checked and a code of P1647 so I changed the heated oxygen sensor control module bank 2. but problems still arising any suggestions ?

 

Possible causes

Faulty Upstream HO2 Sensor Bank 2

Upstream HO2 Sensor Bank 2 harness is open or shorted

Upstream HO2 Sensor Bank 2 circuit poor electrical connection

Faulty Powertrain Control Module (PCM)



Have you had the code cleared?

If so, have you driven the car at least 30-50 miles (50-80km)? Page 5 tells the drive cycle... http://www.jagrepair.com/DTCforms/X1...C_OBDII_R1.pdf ...this may have to be repeated to get it to clear.
