just a little bitter sweet story..
two days ago , i brought home my newborn daughter from the hospital with "matilda" (98 VDP). so we are all set... my wife is in the room , we are all packed up , and i go to the carpark to fetch her. upon starting , she gives me a "abs / tracs / stability " warning all at once!!! ok , i pull to the front of the hospital and put the family inside (rear facing infant seat fits spectacularly by the way). we get home and settle in ... before long it annoys me enough to go out and poke about to see what is up. i unplugged the connector to the ABS unit and prayed with electical cleaner , then applied di-electric grease to the connection points. started her back up , and no messages.... i will just chalk it up to her being jealous of the new child !!!!

Your solder joint in the unit is starting to short. It will only get worse and worse. There is a fix thread which helped me fix mine. No problems since.
