Default Knock sensor

Got a P0332 code, low input. What can be done to boost the signal/input? If you change it, (big pain), wouldn't you still have the same input? First post, love reading them, so helpful and just as important, so civil.thnx

If you have a 99’ - 03’ XJ8, it’s pretty easy to replace without pulling the intake manifold off. 98’ XJ8 (bolt style) pull the intake off. All XJR’s have to pull the super chargers to replace them. To answer your “boost the signal” just means replace the sensor.

Of Note :

The cheaper Duralast SU7012 from Autozone works, it just has a longer wire which can be tucked away.
