My 1999 XJ8 is in excellent condition. The real leather seats are still like new and the passenger seat is excellent. However, the drivers seat leather is cracked and totally worn through on the left sided bolster. Doubt anyone sell leather kits to fit this. Don't want to cover it with a seat cover. Any ideas. Does anyone know and good trim and interior specialists in the Houston area?

I bought a leather repair kit from 'Magic Mender' for my XJ8, about $60, the colour matched very well and I was surprised at how good the drivers seat now looks.

 

Here's what I did: (Removed seat, skinned it, took cover to an upholstery shop for repair, then reassembled and reinstalled)
