a quick thanks to jag..genius for his advice on my xj8 i had the vehicle taken to a independent shop in nashville and they verified the problem as a cam/timing chain broken. they replaced both chains and also replaced the left side head as it was ruined runs better than ever total cost with tax $3740.00 us. keep on jaggin!

 

Not a bad price including the rebuilt head. Drive fast, brake hard!
