Bob was afraid to go outside!!!!!!!!!!!
I live on 10 acres and my shop is here right next to the Goat Barn.
Entertainment for the customers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am not afraid to go out side but the sun sometimes makes me work INSIDE where the lifts are. I do not repeat BABY STEPS, BABY STEPS!!!!!

And I don't have any relatives named Jack Gauff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's actually 30 X 50. I had it built in 2003 with a 6.5 inch slab for a little extra money than the quoted 4" because I wanted to install lifts. I got 3 old lifts from the Jaguar dealer I worked at (5672) because they were installing new ones and were going to throw these old 70s 5000 LB units in the scrap heap. I installed 2 and have the last one for parts. I found out that aholbro1 worked at the company that built them when he was over visiting.

I have electric heat for the winter but I never hooked up the 4 ton AC unit for the summer. I don't know what that would cost in electricity!!!

I have a next door neighbor named Dick Packer... true!

Bob, Is the Healey yours ('58 100?)? I just sold my 66 3000 BJ8 that I'd had since 1974.

LOL, talk about, the pot calling the kettle!! Short form of William might be Bill, but it can also be *****. I guess that when I was at school being known as Big Dick was probably better than Little *****.

Keep up the good work guys, bob, Bill, Sparks and Quad, hopefully Zachary won't think he's landed somewhere with padded walls.

Nice bob,, you already are insulated , and even insulated doors. I would through pv panel on the roof and produce my own electricty to offset the ac. Do you wish youde have gone bigger? You know they always say you build what you need and then when done wish youde have gone bigger

Bigger would be nice but the corner was leveled and that was all the room I had.

Quad The Healey is a 1956 100-4 and it is a customer's car. The Desoto Airflow is his also as is the Ferrari in the left bay in a pic with the goats. The Bentley is one of 2 Bentley customers I have. I don't work on any Rolls/Bentleys made after the late 70s.

Brutal? I couldn't resist....Cmdr Richard L. Dick was the Commanding Officer of HSL-44 in Mayport, FL when I served there in the late '80's. Some trouble remembering his wife's name just now...but YES! he went by "Dick" not Richard. Running joke was of course of a sister named "Anita" and bro. named Max....naturally, he dropped the "jr." and he and dad were known in hometown as "Little Dick" and "Big Dick' respectively...but again...all of that speculation, Richard L. is fact. AKA "Dick-squared" or Dick-cubed around the squadron out of earshot. Y'know how everyone's family seems to have a "We wuz almost filthy rich" story? Dick's claim was his great, great, great, great, great, (x as many as it takes) grandfather was once heard to exclaim, "Dammit Phillips! You know you stole that screw-head patent from me!"

Union plant in Paris, KY, located in Bourbon county, Ky (yes...it is a "dry" county, or was) sad...used to be the "Kleenex" of the automotive lift industry, so I was told when I started there...where the brand was frequently used as generic term for in-ground lifts. They went broke AFTER I ran off and joined the Navy...guess they couldn't make it without me.

Zachary, and anyone else in DFW....Bob (bob,BOB) Gauff is the real deal! You will never regret taking your car to the goat-yard for a service!!! and they are some good entertainment.
