My 00 XJ8 wont start I think my computer is Dead!! please help

Unhappy My 00 XJ8 wont start I think my computer is Dead!! please help

Hello everyone! I have an 00 XJ8 the car wont start is not even cranking I also notice that in the dash all the lights come on when I turn the key but the miles will!!not show.. someone told me my computer is dead I call the dealer and they told me it would be $400 just to diagnose the car. Please anyone help

If not a dead battery... you got $400?

Check all your connections.

That's all I got and it was free.

I'm curious what the problem was. It seems everybody jumps to horrible conclusions when there is a jaguar involved.
