The covered trailer arrived with my 2001 VP today. I had it in covered storage in San Diego . Cost was $1800 to ship to Seattle area. The car has 40,800 miles and is very nice. My friend and his uncle both did a good job of maintence. I am looking forward to driving this car.

Very nice. I have never shipped a car that way....choosing instead to rent
a car. drop it off there and drive the purchased one back. It is however,
taking a chance that nothing unexpected will happen on the return drive.

 

The weather this winter in CA, OR, and WA was not good. The fires in LA turned off us for a drive through LA. I decided to fly to Seattle from Houston and then ship the car. We were in Houston this winter with family.
The cost of shipping was 500 more covered. The car is too nice to ship uncovered. You can see in the pictures the car was clean when it arrived. My storage site was great and set up the shipping. They were there for the handoff. For me My friend gave the the car for $100. He sold his condo and I flew to San Diego to pick it up in Dec. put it in covered storage for 3 months.
