Default Need help with Audio System

I've got a 2000 VDP, and the audio system has lost all of the
mid-range speakers (tweeters and sub-woofer appear to be OK).
I've pulled the IC31 connector from the amplifier and sent a
test audio signal through each speaker pair - no response
whatsoever from any of the mid-range door speakers. Checked
the IC3 connection (under rear driver-side foot well - it's
tight (couldn't send a test signal from this connector).

Checked all the fuses - everything's OK there.

Any ideas what would cause all of the door speakers to go
silent?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Country Western music has been known to destroy Jaguar speakers.

Both driver's side mids in my 2000 XJR were dead when I bought it, Alpines. Looked fine, no damage on the cones or anything, no apparent loose connections, they just didn't work. I took a known good mid from the the passenger side and plugged it into the drivers side positions, and it worked. So the mids can go bad with no external indication (they're kind of a cheap speaker). If you have another known good speaker, try plugging it in and making sure it isn't just dead speakers.
