Default new coolant leak

OK so back again with an odd coolant leak. this time its leaking under the intake on the left side all the way up front. still on the side of the intake but all the way to the front. its just dripping so far but need to fix. anyone know if the intake gasket can leak water or am I probably looking at replacing a head gasket. thanks to anyone with some input.

You have two hoses under the intake manifold. Both go brittle with time and leak. And if you have the plastic thermostat housing, then that is a very possible leak source too... The plastic intake manifold doesn't have any water channels. And head gaskets rarely go and let water out tüinto the V

Though if you have an XJR, there are chances that you can have more hoses leak... Like from the intercoolers.

ok I forget that my veh info is not showing in my sig. its a 99 xj8 and ive replaced the hose that goes the length of the intake on the right side but I do not see one under the left side. it could be the thermostat housing but its not the plastic one that has been upgraded. if no water goes through the intake then thats out ill have to investigate deeper thanks abunch

ok got out the mirror and found a hose leaking directly under the intake coming off the back of the tower that the thermostat housing sits on. this looks really dificult to get to. seems like removing the intake is the only way to get to it anyone got any better ideas

Taking the manifold off is the only way I am aware of.
