New engine, Coolant draining out when i swith engine off
It is still not clear precisely where the leak is, but let me take a stab at this. If the leak is occurring at the left hand fender well, there is an overflow tank in the fender. The feed coming from the heade tank terminates at this fender reservoir. If the header cap is failing, it will not hold pressure in the cooling system and coolant will flow pretty freely into this reserve tank, then, when it is filled, dump out onto the ground. If, in fact, that is what you're seeing, first check that pressure exists when the engine is hot. Just very carefully BEGIN to unscrew the cap, but stop if you hear the slightest sizzling or hissing. If no pressure exists, then the cap has failed. It still might be bad (weak) not holding the 18/20 lbs it is supposed to hold.
Again, this is a stab in the dark and might not be your problem at all, but based on the info you've provided, it is about the only thing I can relate.

Thanks Steve, the leak is coming from the left side fender right by the corner, and the cap might be the problem when i try to screw it back on it doesn't tighten up it just keeps turning. i am going to get a new one will let you know how it works.
I went and got a new cap, the coolant is no longer leaking on the left side of the engine, it now leaks right in the center of the engine on top just behind the radiator. still need help thanks
