I wanted to thank everyone for the assistance, and update this post because I always like to hear the final outcome of others problems too.

Good news is my car now runs great. I had the primary and secondary tensioners and all chains replaced and the timing set properly (it skipped a tooth) Also found the left bank Cam cover had a crack in it.

Bad news

I am still away from home very often and my wife now loves my car and has started to rack up the miles. (but she now agrees and thinks it needs a paint job.)
