While having the key marks repaired on my 07 XKR coupe, I decided to buy another vehicle to drive to work (high school). I found a great deal on an 02 XJ Sport with 100k miles. Appears so far to be well maintained. Build date is right on the cusp of transition to metal tensioners, so I'll have to check that out soon. So, my baby will sit at home under a cover most of the time and I'll drive the sedan daily. Can't wait to get the XKR home and look at two Jags in the garage.

I'm discovering little things that need attention, like no antenna and a steering wheel that doesn't move with the column control, but moves with the memory settings, but nothing major so far. I was able to buy the car by just paying off the loan from the previous owner, so the car was priced far less than anything else I was looking to buy and could stand to drive. Once you get used to driving an XK it's hard to go back to a "regular" car.

Any advice from those who have been living with these beautiful cars for a while would be welcome. I plan on joining the local San Antonio Jaguar club next month, so that should help.
