Talk about frustrating...however I am determined to get this cat purring again...It just seems like something is missing. I will clean the MAF and throttle body just to take that out of the equation. Any other suggestions please feel free to post them. Thanks guys and will keep you all updated.

Mr Radar:
I suppose at some point you have gotta be concerned that you have a timing chain issue. It might be time to put the oil in and do a compression check.
I flooded my XJ8 (post Nikasil) one time, after leaving a connector loose and it took a good while (30 minutes?) to get it cleared- Cranking for 30 seconds - cooling for 4 or 5 minutes, but then never had a problem again.

I have thrown in the towel and am selling the Jaguar. I have posted it in the Classified forum. I am thinking that I have a timing issue and am not prepared to tackle that situation. Thanks to ALL here on the forum who offered help.
