No trac

My XJ 8 Sport 2003 has a message come up saying no trac available when I first start the engine.
Any clues

i have a friend that has a 2003 blk on blk xj8s. She got the same message but it was kinda ghostly in the way that it was very random. she got it checked. there is a reset button on the ABS. not sure where it is or if it is connected to a relay somewhere.... but that was the fix!!!!!!
