Default Noise at 50 mph

I have had my 2000 VDP just over a month now and have done most regular servicing. I still have a noise on the highway at about 50mph that is best described as a low booming rumble. It goes away at a few mph obove or below that speed. I would be grateful for any insight.

Cheers,

Chris.

Default RE: Noise at 50 mph

After more driving and listening, the noise is not as bad when I take my foot off the gas pedal and coast, returns as I accelerate again. I suspect drive train...maybe a U joint or something.. I don't think wheel balancing would be effected by that, anyone have a clue?

Thanks,

Chris.

If it changes with straight line load like that, soundslike a bad diff.
