Is the normal limit for opening the sunroof about 3 inches between the front edge of the sunroof panel and the rear edge of the sunroof aperture?

In other words, it does not fully retract until the panel edge is flush with the rear edge of the aperture.

Just fixed the wobbly tilt arm problem. Bad design. It looks as if it might be possible to swing the spring around to the other side of the arm to keep the pin from wandering out of the slider hole. If they had done it that way at the factory, it would never have fallen out.

edit: nevermind, finally found another thread answering the question by searching on "sunroof", "inches". The gap is normal.
